ASC programme events
WINTER SCHOOLS
A winter school is organized each year in the ASC Master program, end of February or beginning of March, between the 1st and 2nd / 3rd and 4th semesters, to ensure that all students can attend.
It brings all ASC students of the first and second year in one location as a group. The topic deepens one specific field of application of spectroscopy.
Beside the scientific content, it is also a joint social event and an opportunity for ASC students and alumni to exchange on their experience.
2023 ASC Winter school was organized by the University of Bologna from February 13th to 17th on "Spectroscopy at different length and time scales" (See the full programme)
2020 - HELSINKI
In 2020, the winter school took place in the University of Helsinki, from 2nd to 6th March, topic: « Spectroscopy in medical Application ».
2018 - KRAKOW
The 2018 winter school was organized by the Jagiellonian University in Krakow from Feb. 26th to March 2nd on « Imaging and Spectroscopy of Materials ».

2017- BOLOGNA
The 2017 winter school was organized by Alma Mater University of Bologna, Department of Industrial Chemistry « Toso Montanari » in Rimini from Feb 27th to March 03rd 2017 on « Spectroscopy for the Applied Chemistry »
Conference in Rimini
2022 – Krakow
A summer school took place in Krakow from 20th to 24th June on « Characterization of materials with spectroscopic and imaging techniques ».
2019 - LEIPZIG
The 2019 winter school was organized by Leipzig University from 11th to 15th of March on « Spectroscopy in Chemistry – new techniques and new applications ».

In 2016, ASC students participated in the IASIM conference in spectral imaging in Chamonix, France.
